Newfoundland and Labrador Electronic Products Recycling Fees

On August 1, a new electronics recycling program was launched province wide by the Electronics Products Recycling Association (EPRA). The program is funded through Environmental Handling Fees (EHFs) which are applied to the sale of new electronic products. The CPC is required to charge these fees effective immediately. EHF charges + HST will be included in the cost of the electronics item on the CPC requisition. A summary of fees is outlined below.



Recycling University-owned Electronic Equipment

If you have university-owned electronic equipment to dispose of you need to complete a Declaration and Disposal of Surplus Assets form. Facilities Management will arrange for the removal and disposition of the item(s).

Recycling Personally owned Electronics

There are many EPRA Drop-off Centres located across the province that can responsibly recycle end-of-life electronics FREE OF CHARGE.
